Today was Mother's Day and I am so grateful to be the mom to these amazing little munchkins! This is us after I opened the present they got me (a new diaper bag) and before we headed out for a really fun day.

Ever since Baby Sister was born Big Brother has insisted that he "get" to do things she can do. Have a pair of overalls, wear no socks, wear pajamas with feet. It is cute. So, today I made them let me take pictures of the two of them matching. :)

Here is Baby Sister "meeting" Big Brother's doll Lucia for first time. Baby Sister is such a girl!! She was amazed and excited by Lucia in a way that Big Brother's trains just don't get her. :)

We went to the park today. This was Baby Sister's second trip and her second time on the swings. As you can see she enjoyed it immensely. I just love the expression she is making here.

The family took me out to dinner tonight and we all had a great time. Especially Baby Sister who ate everything from cheese sticks to bean soup to fettucini alfredo and pizza. She looks very satisfies doesn't she?

Today was my birthday and this picture was takes just before Big Brother and Hubby gave me my birthday gifts. Baby Sister helped me blow out the candles. It was a terrific day.

Big Brother was very cuddly after his bath tonight. He jumped into my lap and I handed Hubby the camera to take a very cute picture of teh three of us. It was a very sweet moment.

This picture is not so great because it was taken with my phone. I took the kids to the park and let Baby Sister try out the swings. This was her first time on the swings. I was a bad mommy and I forgot my camera. But at least I caught the moment with the phone. :)

This is Baby Sister's new thing - grabbing at lips. I remember when Big Brother used to do this. And iy hurts when they get a handful of your lips but I cannot help myself from kissing those
sweet little hands.

Baby Sister has discovered a great new game. If she laughs we laugh. So, now whenever we come into sight she starts laughing. The best part is that it is reciprocal - if we laugh she laughs. Which makes it easy to get a picture of her wide mouth grin.

I just love the way her eye is peeking out in this picture. We had gone to the library and she was asleep in the Moby. Just before we left she started to wake up. She was still sleepy and not really moving but her eyes were open and she was taking it all in. It was adorable.

I just love when he "reads" to her. Of course he cannot actually read that whole book yet. He does, however, pretty much have it memorized. So, for her the experience is the same.

We stopped at Johnny Rockets on our way home from theGrandparents. I took this picture of Big Brother and Baby Sister as we were waiting for our food. They were just so cute. Isn't that smile adorable?

We took this picture of Baby Sister this morning. She loves music and as she was playing with Big Brother's guitar Hubby said we needed to take this picture because when she is in a band or somehow playing it will be fun to look back on this picture.
